Celebrations

Celebrating a recent finish - Blackbird Designs Garden Borders. The colors at least in person are so pretty. I used my grandmother's initials. She always had such beautiful flowers and I wish I had inherited her very green thumb.

Here are a few new acquisitions - with one exception there seems to be a theme.

And in the category of "I loved it so much," I bought it twice -

So...if, anyone, is interested I would be happy to send it along to you.

Thankfully, I seem to be back to 100% which is a good thing as we are a little behind on a few celebrations.

We are so proud of our son - he has worked so hard to catch up after his injury that required him to take some time off and is set to graduate with a 4.0 GPA.

We also celebrated his 24th birthday

And of course a birthday beer

Lola is celebrating another nap

Here's hoping there are some celebratory occasions in your future!

Your BBD piece is gorgeous. So sweet to use your grandmother's initials. And looks like plenty of new stash to keep you busy.

Yea for your son! So glad you are feeling better to enjoy the celebration.

So great to read that you are feeling fine again and that you are back to your old self.
Such a lovely finish, Penny. I love this BBD series a lot. And a nice tribute to your grandmother.
Oh my, such nice new stash indeed. I have always loved Elizabeth Howell with all the red in the border of her sampler. A great piece.
Congratulations to your son on his success!

What a gorgeous sampler you are working on. Was your grandmother's name Victoria?

Congratulations to your son's achievement! Is there a club for those of us who liked it so much it was purchased twice? If there is I qualify for charter membership.

I love your beautiful BBD finish so nice to use your GF's initials. I am also a sampler maker but sadly I have to use low count fabrics beacause of my eye sight.Your cat is very cute and pretty.
