Semi-Annual Posting

I've finished a few small pieces, and after wrestling with my sewing machine, finally finished one.

Love Blooms Primitive Valentine Pillow Tuck by Shelly Auen of Primitive Stitchin.

Maybe after visiting the sewing machine doctor, I can do some more finishing. It feels odd to kind of slip in here with this. I'm just never going to be a regular poster. :) Life has really been a roller coaster since shortly after Christmas. It seems like everything decided to happen at once. Both my mother and father have had some rough times with their health, my health has taken some scary turns, and Lola (the cat) has decided to jump on the bandwagon by becoming diabetic. Please watch your cat's weight, as that seems to be what triggered her to become diabetic. Trust me when I tell you it is no fun to give a cat insulin injections twice a day. :) With all of the stress, I don't seem to be able to focus on stitching anything too big ~ hopefully that will change soon. Although I haven't been commenting, I've been stopping by your blogs. They are a little bit of normality, and that is a very good thing. Since it may be awhile until another post, hope everyone enjoys their summer!

I'm so sorry life has been so stressful for you recently -- especially with health problems for so many in your family and yourself. :( I hope things take a turn for the better for everyone. I'm going to have to warm my sister -- one of her cats is getting quite fat. Love your finish. Lots of good thoughts and prayers for you.

I am so happy to see your post, Penny, but sad to read of everyone's health issues... I do hope things get better soon. It is so hard to deal with aging parents--especially when you're not feeling great yourself.

Glad to see you're still stitching--the little finish is darling...

Take care now and I hope you enjoy your summer.

I know I am supposed to be here to see the stitching but I have to say I adore the blog header! Adorable baby lambs. I love them.
The pillow is a lovely finish and regular postings or not I will always enjoy visiting here.

Poor kitty. Your a very good mommy:)
Beautiful beautiful finish on your prim piece. Love the velvet looks so elegant. My sewing machine needs a tune up too! Oh well I keep sewing on it anyways.
